JOB SUMMARY

The Project Manager / Application Analyst will serve as a senior application and operational expert responsible for the implementation, optimization, support, and enhancement of Epic Cadence solutions. This role will work closely with clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders to improve scheduling and registration workflows, support strategic healthcare initiatives, and deliver technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency and patient care. The ideal candidate will possess strong Epic Cadence expertise, project leadership capabilities, and experience driving workflow improvements across complex healthcare environments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead and support Epic Cadence implementation, optimization, and enhancement initiatives.
• Analyze, design, configure, test, and maintain Epic Cadence application functionality.
• Collaborate with IT, operational, and business stakeholders to identify system requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Support scheduling and registration workflows through application configuration, process improvement, and troubleshooting activities.
• Manage complex projects involving multiple applications, departments, and stakeholder groups.
• Facilitate workflow analysis sessions and recommend solutions that improve efficiency, productivity, and patient experience.
• Coordinate system testing, validation, deployment, and post-implementation support activities.
• Provide application support, root cause analysis, and issue resolution for end users.
• Develop and deliver end-user training, documentation, and knowledge transfer materials.
• Partner with interdisciplinary teams to support healthcare application initiatives and organizational goals.
• Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for optimization and process improvement.
• Support strategic initiatives focused on operational excellence, patient access, scheduling efficiency, and quality of care.
• Ensure application changes align with organizational standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
• Communicate project status, risks, issues, and recommendations to leadership and key stakeholders.
• Participate in ongoing system upgrades, enhancements, and maintenance activities.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum 10 years of overall professional experience.
• Epic Cadence Certification (Required).
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on Epic Cadence Analyst experience.
• Experience supporting scheduling and/or patient registration workflows.
• Operational and/or Information Technology (IT) background.
• Strong understanding of healthcare application support, implementation, and optimization methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience managing stakeholder relationships and resolving complex conflicts effectively.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Associate's Degree required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience with clinical database software and healthcare information systems.
• Experience supporting healthcare application implementation, optimization, and production support initiatives.
• Experience working across multiple concurrent projects and interdisciplinary teams.
• Strong knowledge of workflow analysis, operational improvement, and process optimization methodologies.
• Experience supporting large healthcare organizations, hospitals, or integrated health systems.
• Familiarity with Epic application ecosystem and healthcare technology environments.
• Experience driving organizational change management and user adoption initiatives.

CERTIFICATIONS
• Epic Cadence Certification (Required).
• Additional Epic Certifications (Preferred).
• Healthcare Information and Management Systems certifications are a plus.
