Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum ten years' experience in Project Engineering for large industrial evaporator and dryer systems
• Knowledge of fabrication and welding techniques and their quality standards
• Proficient in computer skills, especially Excel and Word
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Fluent in both English and French for effective communication

Responsibilities

• Monitor project schedules and tasks to ensure on-time completion
• Write equipment specifications and collaborate with process engineers for accuracy
• Assist purchasing department in supplier negotiations
• Prepare Purchase Order Requisitions to facilitate procurement
• Work with Design Department to clarify equipment specifications
• Review internal and external drawings for compliance with specifications
• Ensure Quality Assurance Inspector conducts inspections of equipment
• Maintain Project Control Chart to track costs and optimize profit margins
• Keep Electronic Project files organized and up to date
• Ensure timely invoicing to maximize cash flow and approve supplier invoices
• Gather pricing for spare parts in collaboration with purchasing
• Collect required documentation for project progress
• Prepare Operating and Maintenance Manuals for client use
