What we are looking for

SCS Engineers is looking for an Air Quality/Environmental Compliance Project Manager to become a long-term asset to our growing practice in the Southwest. You will complete technical work, manage contact with clients, and manage the schedule and work product performed consistent within SCS's quality control standards. Your work will support our solid waste and industrial clients. We are open to you being hybrid in any SCS office in California, Arizona or Nevada, or even remote.

How you can make an impact
  • Air quality permitting and compliance; greenhouse gas emissions compliance; general regulatory compliance; various permitting for solid waste and industrial facility projects.
  • Technical work may include air modeling, completing calculations, reviewing compliance issues, preparing permitting documentation, reviewing data, research, and report writing as well as related services.
  • Work may also include in field activities, such as field meetings on compliance or permitting-related issues.
  • Client interaction and preparation of proposals will be required on an as needed basis.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor of Science Degree or higher in Environmental, Chemical, or other related science degree required.
  • Minimum of 6 years of related experience in air quality, air permitting and/or air compliance required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of Project Management experience required. 
  • Valid driver's license with a driving record in good standing required.
Pay RangeUSD $100,000.00 - USD $150,000.00 /Yr.
