Qualifications

• Civil Engineering Degree or Diploma, or equivalent training and experience.
• Minimum of 3 years as a Project Manager; experience as a Project Coordinator or Project Engineer may be acceptable.
• Familiarity with projects and specifications in Calgary and surrounding areas.
• Experience in asphalt paving, concrete, earthworks, and underground construction.
• Capable of reading and interpreting construction drawings and documents.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong self-motivation and organizational skills.
• Adaptable to flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead adherence to Environmental, Health and Safety Management System.
• Develop and assess Health and Safety Plans, Environmental Operating Plans, and Quality Management Plans.
• Interpret project estimates and contract drawings to guide project execution.
• Prepare work schedules and coordinate project staff effectively.
• Manage onsite crews, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project completion.
• Inspect ongoing work to confirm quality and schedule adherence.
• Maintain updated contracts and change orders regularly.
