  • Assist in creating and distributing funding documents to U.S. Embassies.
  • Support financial forecasting and budget preparations for the upcoming fiscal year.

Full Job Description
The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) is looking for a Project Management Specialist II to support our government customer located in San Diego, California.

DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Act as the primary financial point of contact for DHAPP in various countries.
  • Review quarterly financial reports and program outlay data using MS Excel and business intelligence software to ensure proper country program financial management and timely processing of payments for several countries.
  • Conduct monthly or quarterly meetings with country team staff to review expenditure data and provide a summary of program financial status.
  • Routinely track and report the status of several DHAPP grant/contract awards approaching the cumulative period of performance end date.
  • Assist in the creation, tracking and dissemination of funding documents to U.S. Embassies and USG Contracting Offices.
  • Assist with financial forecasting and finalizing statements of work to ensure program budgets are properly funded for the upcoming fiscal year.
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Greater than three (>3) years of professional experience in area of expertise.
  • Knowledge of and experience with the PEPFAR program and its goals, GHSD policies, and procedures and have a working understanding of DHAPP's vision, mission, programs, personnel and facilities.
  • Must be able to understand, present and convey financial information to non-financial staff.

REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE:

U.S. Citizenship required.
