Standard Job DescriptionYou will be the Project Management & Planning Operations Mgr for the Operations Planning Team. Our team is responsible for delivering integrated project management and planning solutions.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Project Management & Planning Operations Mgr you will be responsible for overseeing operational aspects of ongoing projects and acting as a liaison among project management, planning, project teams, and line management.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinate recruitment, selection, and training of subordinate employees.
- Oversee project status, budgets, schedules, and prepare status reports.
- Monitor project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals.
- Implement mechanisms for monitoring progress and intervene with project and line managers.
- Serve as liaison between project management, planning, project teams, and line management.
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications• Must be a US Citizen
• Ability to obtain a US Security clearance
• Bachelors degree required to apply
• Ability to work multiple tasks and deal with competing priorities in a fast paced environment
• Excellent communication (verbal, written and presentation) skills
• Knowledge of Lockheed Martin Global Supply Chain Procedures and Requirements
• Experience leading a team of individual contributors
• Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills with an ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and changes in deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs
• Experience working with SAP and S4Hana
Desired Skills• Previous leadership experience and/or exhibiting influence without authority
• Ability to effectively communicate at all levels, from new hires to leaders
• Attention to detail and processes, including process improvements
• Experience working with suppliers, conducting supplier visits, knowledge of manufacturing and special processes
• Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) or Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR)
• Demonstrated risk and opportunity management experience
• Must have experience in in developing and executing supplier management strategies
• Assigning and managing team workload to meet cost and schedule objectives
• Coaching and mentoring Supply Chain members to ensure successful execution of the program
• Serve as key interface between Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Program
• Align supplier strategy with enterprise industrial base objectives (capacity, resilience, cost, and rate readiness)
Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $129000.00 - $239600.00

- Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
