Full Job Description
Manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Oversees the status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Monitors the assessment of project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Insures the development of mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

We are seeking a highly motivated, self starting "go getter" to support the execution of the portfolio growth plan, inclusive of 1LMX and transformation activities. The ideal candidate will have strong program management or systems engineering experience in fast paced environments and be ready to work on site in Colorado Springs.

We are developing mission critical Battle Management and Command & Control capabilities for the Missile Defense Agency customer. Our programs include: Command and Control, Battle Management, & Communications (C2BMC), Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Weapon System (GWS), Modeling and Simulation Framework (MASC-F), the Systems Engineering & Integration Team (SE&IT).

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Program Manager and Business Development lead to transform the MDS portfolio from a people-driven into an AI-enabled delivery framework business, raising margins, accelerating innovation, and delivering sustained profitability for LM.

Coordinate across the program and functional teams to finalize the MDS portfolio strategies and transformation roadmap, including executing the plan to ensure near-term milestones are met.

Establish metrics to track and understand the progress from the transformation activities across all programs

Basic Qualifications
• Agentic AI / AI Tools Experience
• 1LMX Transformation Tools experience -be familiar with functionality provided within Teams and M365 Suite including integration apps: Lists, Planner, Forms, Power Automate.
• Influential leadership and demonstrated ability to lead across organizations, and functions to drive alignment across diverse enterprise
• Ability to manage complex projects and align resources effectively to meet goals
• Program Management, Project Management, Project Engineering and/or Systems Engineering experience
• Ability to obtain Secret Clearance

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00

The salary range for this position is as listed on the requisition. Please note that the salary information listed is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market(work location) and business considerations when extending an offer.

  • Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
