Position Title: Project Management Coordinator

Salary: $90,000-$105,000

Job Summary

This position is based at LinkedIn account and supports the national team in creating a positive and collaborative work environment. The ideal candidate will have production experience and strong skills in work-plan development and progress tracking. The project coordinator will also prepare and present updates regularly to relevant management and client channels, ensuring that our goals of engaged hospitality and organizational innovation are achieved.

POSITION OBJECTIVES:

In the performance of his/her respective tasks and duties this employee is expected to:
• Be passionate about people development, culture and community;
• Help the management team create and maintain an environment of support, leadership and compliance for all associates.
• Liaise with managers and clients to define project requirements, scopes, and objectives that align with organizational goals
• Coordinate internal and external resources, ensuring that projects remain within scope, schedule, and budget
• Analyze project progress and, when necessary, adapt scope or timeline to achieve optimal results
• Assign roles and tasks to team members based on their individual strengths and abilities
• Help build the skill sets of team members and share learnings with other employees
• Achieve organizational goals while adhering to standards and best practices
• Ensure all LinkedIn specific onboarding procedures and training with Bon Appetit are met.
• Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision.
• Interact professionally with other employees, customers and suppliers.
• Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments.
• Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations.

MAJOR DUTIES/FUNCTIONS/TASKS:

Project Coordination
• Ensure that all aspects of a project are organized and in conformance with timeline and deliverables requirement
• Develop and maintain project performance database that tracks overall progress and achievement of milestones
• Assign and monitor resources effectively to boost project efficiency and maximize deliverables output
• Report project risks and outcomes to appropriate management channels, and escalate issues according to project work plan
• Serve as point of communication between company teams and external resources
• Deepen partnerships with outside resources, including third-party vendors and researchers
• Communicates and implements Bon Appetit best practices and philosophy

Administrative Support
• Assists the Employee Support & Leadership teams with administrative tasks and reports using word processing, spreadsheet, database, and/or presentation software.
• Performs general clerical duties to include but not limited to: photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing.

Performance Support
• Works with managers to help define and clarify project roles and responsibilities and ensure consistency across the teams at LinkedIn

Overall Management

  • Teaches Bon Appétit philosophy and culture, emphasizing food made from scratch, friendly and attentive service and a safe and clean environment
  • Supports management decisions while promoting a team spirit.
  • Performs any duties as assigned by the Resident District Manager

• Education: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in relevant field;
• Experience: Three or more years of experience in project coordination; Experience in coordinating teams and clients
• Able to speak clearly and listen attentively to staff, peers, supervisors, guests and clients.
• Proven success in a corporate setting, working with all levels of management
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills across all levels of an organization
• Understands business goals and thinks strategically and tactically about the development and implementation of people programs.
• Serves as a credible resource for employees.
• Takes initiative and ownership of projects and is able to manage multiple large projects simultaneously.
