Position Summary:

This position will be part of the corporate safety team and will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of a variety of safety-related training materials, to include: eLearning Content (primary), video-based training (secondary), training support aids (e.g. job aids), PowerPoints, etc. The target audience for these training programs will be Penske Logistics drivers, warehouse, site leaders, safety team members, as well as other Penske Logistics leadership positions.

Major Responsibilities:
  • Ability to design and develop interactive eLearning courses that are used by a dispersed audience (i.e. truck drivers and warehouse workers)
  • Create multimedia content including videos, animations, quizzes, and simulations to enhance the learning experience.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and relevance of content.
  • Design content for a variety of knowledge and organizational levels such as drivers, warehouse associates, supervisors, managers, and safety professionals.
  • Collaborate with key safety support personnel to ensure training content is updated and compliant with regulations and best practices in the safety industry.
  • Assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and performance metrics.
  • Continuously improve content based on learner feedback and industry developments.
  • Proven experience in creating eLearning content using content creation tools such as Articulate, Vyond, and Captivate.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
  • Capable of working in cross-functional teams as both a leader and team member.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.

  • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
