Full Job Description
The Project Leader & Administrative Assistant position is a newly created role reporting to the Chief Investment Strategist. At a high level, the role will typically break out into the following approximate percentages of time: 40% media/social media and conference appearance coordination and related travel arrangements, 35% support high-level projects, 25% research operations support,. This role will operate in a hybrid environment; reporting to the downtown Chicago office as necessary. What you will do • Coordinate and organize media appearances, studio bookings, and schedules • Manage calendar scheduling, arrange travel and coordinate expense reporting • Maintain research project priority lists and approvals • Coordinate content production and social media activity with internal contributors and stakeholders • Compile and deliver activity summaries to executive leadership • Document and follow up on important actions / decisions from research project meetings • Ensure planning deadlines are met • Provide in-depth reporting and analysis where needed • Gather data and produce presentations in PowerPoint and Excel in a quality manner and on time for an Executive level audience • Manage and maintain vendor contracts • Provide administrative support to Chief Investment Strategist and her direct reports • Maintain confidentiality in all communications • Perform with excellence and precision in a successful, fast-paced, growing company What you will bring • Associates degree or equivalent experience • 5+ years' related experience • Project management execution and budget management experience • Experience with travel and logistics coordination • Responsive, thoughtful communication abilities • Ability to build and maintain effective, positive relationships • Experience interacting respectfully and positively with associates at all levels (ranging entry level to CEO) • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint creation for executive audience What will set you apart • Ability to demonstrate empathy, initiative and resourcefulness • Creative approach with problem-solving • Strong communication skills (verbal, written, presentation) • Strong time management skills • Agility - easily switches gears to handle multiple tasks at one time • On-going learning bias • Ownership mindset ***Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time, including CPT/OPT.*** What we offer you We offer an array of diverse and inclusive benefits regardless of where you are in your career. BRGs are open to all. Base Salary Range $79,400.00 - $112,175.00 The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. ***For remote and hybrid positions you will be required to provide reliable high-speed internet with a wired connection as well as a place in your home to work with limited disruption. You must have reliable connectivity from an internet service provider that is fiber, cable or DSL internet. Other necessary computer equipment, will be provided.
