Position SummaryAs a Project Lead - High Purity & Passivation, you will be responsible for leading field operations, executing specialized chemical cleaning and passivation processes, and directing crews to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality project delivery. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership capability, and the ability to operate in diverse industrial environments including data centers, pharmaceutical facilities, and food & beverage plants. The Project Lead serves as the on-site leader, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and client requirements while maintaining project schedules and documentation.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and direct field crews of 2-6 technicians during project execution
- Plan, coordinate, and execute chemical cleaning and passivation processes
- Interpret and highlight P&IDs to establish proper system flow paths
- Ensure proper chemical mixing and application per process documentation
- Oversee safe handling and use of chemicals including citric acid and caustics
- Enforce strict adherence to OSHA, cGMP, and company safety standards
- Complete and review daily safety documentation, permits, and project reports
- Coordinate mobilization, setup, operation, and demobilization of equipment
- Load, transport, and manage equipment and materials to and from job sites
- Operate company vehicles and equipment safely and responsibly
- Maintain organized and compliant workspaces aligned with 5S/CEO standards
- Train, mentor, and develop field technicians on processes and safety practices
- Communicate project updates, issues, and progress with internal leadership
- Ensure quality execution of work in accordance with client specifications
- Adapt to varying job site conditions, schedules, and operational demands
Required Qualifications- Strong technical knowledge of industrial cleaning, passivation, or similar processes
- Experience leading crews in industrial or field service environments
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs and technical documentation
- Experience handling and mixing industrial chemicals safely
- OSHA 30 and Confined Space certifications preferred
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to travel extensively (up to 80%)
- Ability to lift 25-50 and work in physically demanding environments
- Proficiency with laptops, mobile devices, and basic software tools
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Experience in industrial services, manufacturing, or construction environments preferred
