What you will do

The New Product Development / Lifecycle Project Manager for Hair Care is responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams to successfully launch both new products and modification to current product portfolio (Lifecycle Management) starting from project definition through to introduction into the market. The Project Leader is responsible for achieving the targets set during project definition and is accountable for managing risks, timelines, ensuring processes are followed and managing project communication and escalation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Spearhead the overall project execution for achieving project goals on time.
• Coordinate Project definition, Project planning, Operational readiness, and Market adaptation
• Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, marketing, finance and supply chain teams to infuse cutting-edge trends and consumer insights into product development strategies through each phase of the project
• Monitor and manage risks and opportunities
• Design and implement agile project frameworks that accelerate time-to-market while maintaining rigorous quality and sustainability standards.
• Lead global stakeholder engagement initiatives to harmonize project objectives with diverse regional market dynamics and consumer preferences

2. Drive governance and operational excellence through established stage-gate and portfolio management processes
• Lead project reviews, approvals, and status updates through governance forums and decision-making bodies.
• Provide timely, accurate, and actionable project status communications to all levels of the organization.
• Maintain portfolio management systems and project documentation to ensure data integrity, transparency, and reporting accuracy.

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

Education/Training and/or Experience: Bachelors in Physical Sciences, Engineering, Business & Marketing, or appropriate related field:
• 6-8+ years' experience in related field, Supply Chain, R&D, Packaging, Quality
• 2+ years of Project Leadership experience managing cross-functional teams. Product knowledge is a must have.
• Proven ability to manage complex product development projects in a fast-paced, global environment
• Strong leadership skills with experience leading cross-cultural teams
• Basic understanding of data analytics and consumer behavior insights
• Experience in product lifecycle management
• Commitment to sustainability practices in product development

Desired Skills/Abilities
• Experience with leadership and conflict resolution skills
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Knowledge of team dynamics
• Broad business acumen with knowledge of project related finance
• Knowledge of planning, organization and timeline creation in MS project
• Experience with new product development processes and terminology
• Six Sigma/Process Excellence, Agile, Project Management certifications are preferred.
• Experience working in the healthcare industry with skin care or health care products is preferred.
• Highly effective knowledge of organizational & business acumen. The program will a high level of visibility with upper management / boards, and therefore requires good skills in rhetoric, presentation and cross functional stakeholder management
• Exceptional strategic thinking with the ability to anticipate market shifts and drive product innovation and release functions. Writes and assists others in writing standard operating procedures.

What's in it for you

Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges:

$110,500.00 - $156,000.00

This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate's skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
