Full Job Description
The Project Executive (PX) responsible for the safe, proper and timely execution for large scale and multiple projects. The PX has P&L responsibility of the group of project(s). The PX reports to the Operations Manager. Depending on the scope or scale of a project, a PX may have ownership of a large scale or multiple projects. The PX is a leader for the NHF project teams and is directly engaged with O/A/C throughout all aspects of the work. The PX may perform tasks across various projects at any given time.

Role and Responsibilities:
  • Guide and mentor the Project Management team, responsible for the safe and successful completion of projects.
  • Leader of the NHF relationship with the client's team (project manager, architects, engineers, consultants) to ascertain contract time, cost and quality objectives, and organize project resources accordingly.
  • Working with the Operations Manager, carry out all required PM Department reviews and disciplinary action.
  • Leading and overseeing the in-house project team (designers, engineers, production, assembly, site personnel) for the assigned contract/s.
  • Have a clear understanding of the bid and contract documents (trade contract, scope drawings, specification, exhibits, bid pricing and clarifications).
  • Develop, track, update and report on the detailed project schedule for design, engineering, mockups, production and installation activities.
  • Develop, track, update and report on the contract schedule of values and payment requisitions, ensuring the project cash flow is met and payments received in a timely manner.
  • Working closely with the Quality Management Department; develop, track, update and report on the contract quality control and assurance system.
  • Work in concert with Supply Chain and Procurement teams to oversee the pricing and purchasing of materials, equipment and sub-contracts, ensuring that both budgetary and specified contractual cost, time and quality requirements are met.
  • Research, substantiate, present, negotiate and report on changes to the contract scope.
  • Attend and chair all required external and internal meetings. Responsible for reporting of both.
  • Perform tasks as they may be assigned in an efficient and thorough manner.

Skills and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of construction safety and regulations in compliance with OSHA standards.
  • Providing guidance, mentorship and leadership to NHF project managers and program support staff.
  • Familiarity with architectural metal, wood, glass and other materials form and function.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to carry out department policies.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on Excel, Primavera as well as a strong problem-solving capability.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to travel as required.
  • Ability to sit, work, collaborate on a computer as needed for project work.
  • Ability to stand for periods of time as needed for project work.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in AEC field or Project Management required, advanced degree a plus.
  • 10 years of experience in façade project management or similar experience within the AEC industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in the planning, procurement, and delivery of Design-Build and/or APD programs or projects (DBIA certification would be a benefit).
  • Valid Driver's License and passport, as travel domestically and internationally may be required to perform duties.
  • Building construction experience with Agency type clients preferred.
  • Experience of working in project and/or client facilities as part of a collocated team.
  • The ability to work and deliver independently in a client-facing role.
