Based in
North Bay, the
Project Engineer (P.Eng.) will report to the Project Manager, Engineering, and will have a wide range of duties which ultimately focus on the review and preparation of technical deliverables for clients on Land Development and Linear Infrastructure projects. You will be part of a team that provides solutions in a diverse range of engineering, including Municipal, Transportation, Environmental, Drainage, and Stormwater Management. This position is an existing vacancy. The salary range is $80,000 - $107,000.
What You'll Do:As part of the TULLOCH Engineering team, you will:
- Work in a fast-paced and challenging environment with our Planning and Engineering teams on a variety of land development and linear infrastructure projects
- Be responsible for the successful delivery of civil engineering projects including: Lot Grading Plans, Industrial, Commercial and Institutional (ICI) Developments, Site Plan Control Applications, and Residential Subdivisions
- Prepare and review technical deliverables including stormwater management designs and reports and functional servicing studies
- Collaborate with the engineering team to prepare and review detailed engineering drawings
- Apply technical modelling software such as Visual OTTHYMO, PCSWMM, and HEC-RAS
- Provide on-site technical review and general review certification when required
- Prepare and review project cost estimates and bid documentation and perform bid evaluation
- Coordinate project needs with the Project Manager, Discipline Manager, clients, regulatory entities, vendors, and subcontractors

Who You Are: - You have 4+ years of experience working in Ontario in a Civil Engineering role
- Valid P.Eng. licence through PEO
- You have robust knowledge in stormwater management and site servicing including residential and commercial/industrial developments including sewer design, erosion control, etc.
- Knowledge in water resources engineering like floodplain mapping is an asset
- You have experience completing the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment process
- You have a thorough understanding of relevant legislation, guidelines, and standards
- You can exercise independent judgment within defined parameters and in alignment with business objectives
- You have strong computer skills with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and technical modelling software
- You are willing to travel periodically as needed
What You Should Bring:The ideal candidate will have a university degree in Civil Engineering or Water Resources Engineering. Additionally, you should have:
