Responsibilities
- Support the Project Manager and oversee major aspects of construction work, including organizing the acquisition of materials, equipment, and workers.
- Plan for costs and support the Project Manager and Superintendent on various tasks.
- Coordinate with project architects, designers, owners, and field personnel.
- Generate Requests for Information (RFIs) and submittals.
- May be responsible for bid analysis, constructability reviews, and permit processing.
- Inspect all work to assure compliance with plans and specifications.
- Offer technical information to project supervisor to ensure work complies with applicable codes, drawings, and specifications.
- Have a general understanding of project budget and assist with buyouts.
- Monitor and track project quality control metrics and activities on a regular basis, provide timely and accurate quality reports, and raise issues to PM or Superintendent as appropriate.
- Plan and organize construction engineering projects from conception to completion.
- Generate project punch list and closeout documentation.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical.
- Demonstrated expertise with 5+ years experience in commercial projects (i.e., solar projects, battery energy storage system projects, energy performance contracts).
- Excellent communications skills required for interaction with vendors, designers, consultants, and clients.
- Exposure to MS Office (Word, Excel, Project) AutoCAD, Revit, and Blue Beam.
- Minimum experience of 0 years.
