We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Project Engineer to lead and manage the development of complex engineering proposals, ensuring alignment with company processes and procedures.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering complete and executable proposals that showcase our company's capabilities and value proposition.

What You Will Be Doing

**Key Responsibilities:**
• Develop complex engineering proposals, ensuring alignment with company processes and procedures.
• Collaborate with execution PE to ensure executable technical program plan and with the CE to ensure technical integrity of the proposed technical solution
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and business development, to gather input and ensure a comprehensive proposal.
• Develop and manage proposal schedules, timelines, and deadlines, ensuring timely submission of high-quality proposals.
• Ensure proposal development and submission processes comply with company policies, procedures, and standards.
• Provide technical leadership and expertise in the development of proposal technical volumes, including technical approach, management plan, and past performance.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and refine technical solutions, ensuring alignment with customer needs and company capabilities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, and partners to gather input, provide updates, and ensure proposal alignment with customer requirements.
• Develop and edit proposal content, including technical volumes, management plans, and pricing volumes, ensuring writing is clear, concise, and compelling.
• Collaborate with pricing and cost estimation teams to develop comprehensive and competitive pricing strategies.
• Ensure pricing proposals are accurate, complete, and compliant with company policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure proposals are thoroughly reviewed and revised before submission.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of proposals, including electronic and hardcopy submissions.
• Collaborate with business development teams to follow up on proposal submissions, providing updates and addressing customer questions and concerns.

Basic Qualifications

• Knowledge of proposal development principles, practices, and tools.
• Secret security clearance

• Familiarity with Lockheed Martin's processes and procedures.
• Strong knowledge of systems engineering principles and practices.
• Experience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools and methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and direct cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement
