The ideal candidate has
8 or more years of experience working as a Project Engineer on site civil projects and is well versed in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, HydroCAD, WaterCAD, and Microsoft Excel and Word.
While it is not required to be hired, all candidates should be able/willing to be licensed in NY and/or PA. What You'll Need to Be Successful:

What You'll Be Doing As a Site Civil Project Engineer: - Make decisions independently regarding engineering complexities and methods
- Analyze reports, maps, drawings, tests, etc. in order to plan and design a project
- Prepare or modify reports, specifications, plans, schedules and designs for project
- Assist in the coordination of pricing, estimating, scoping and marketing strategies for proposed projects
- Review "shop" drawings from contractors and research code requirements and issues
- Understand and create full set construction documentation, including specifications; develop probable construction cost estimates
- Provide oversight, mentorship, and training to design engineers and other staff members •
- Act as an on-site representative of Bergmann with customers and on job sites
