DescriptionWe are currently looking for a
Project Engineer to join our Construction Management team in the East Bay area.
Project Engineer day-to-day:
- Basic knowledge of contracts, drawings, estimates, and specifications to ensure relation and compliance to project requirements
- Will support and maintain data, information, communications, and approvals required by project and company requirements between owner, architects, engineers, contractors/subcontractors, or other project related entities
- Basic familiarity and increased capability to learn construction means, methods, and materials
- Participate in and maintain document and project controls systems and procedures
- Participate in project meetings and record notes including meeting minutes, documentation, administration, and tracking of relevant information and statuses
- Will obtain, track and document contractor, architect, engineer, and provider contractual requirements on areas of safety, performance, project staff, and equipment as directed by project leadership
- Assist in project closeout procedures including involvement in guarantees, warranties, and related provisions as directed by project leadership
- Provide all services and objectives to ensure the quality of Roebbelen standards and quality project deliverables
- Utilize Procore construction software to keep project documents organized and updated
- Interacts with project field staff, trade partners, vendors, clients and project team in a respectful manner that aligns with Roebbelen's core values
- Acts as a safety ambassador on site without ever compromising Roebbelen's safety standards
- Perform other duties as necessary and required

What we're looking for: - Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in construction management, engineering, architecture, business administration, or a similar area of study
- Non-degree holders must possess 4+ years of experience in a construction-related position providing coordination, planning and project administrative support
- Fundamental knowledge of construction principles, means, methods, and materials
- Understanding of contracts, documents, drawings, and specifications
- Basic understanding and application of financial accounting principles, administrative support, and professional collaboration
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to represent Roebbelen in a professional manner, in alignment with the company mission, purpose, core values, and standards of conduct
