This position is located 100% ONSITE in Westford, MA.
What You Will Do:
Manage the planning, execution, and tracking/reporting of all technical aspects of the engineering development for airborne reconnaissance and ground intelligence systems. This includes leading the efforts of a cross functional engineering team for all non-recurring engineering development activities (from requirements through integration and test) and acting as the key technical interface between Program Management and Engineering.
Manage the engineering product development process through major program milestone reviews (SRR, PDR, and CDR).
Coordinate and drive engineering tasks and actions to closure in a timely fashion while providing updates to the Program Management Office and senior leadership.
Identify technical risks, develop mitigation strategies, and drive the mitigations to closure.
Provide critical evaluation of technical and programmatic tasks.
Perform Control Account Manager duties (cost, scope, and schedule) including Earned Value Management analysis of cost and schedule metrics.
Operate within a matrix organization for effective resource management.
Develop Basis of Estimates (BOEs) and lead the engineering planning and completion of proposal activities.
Serve as the technical point of contact for all aspects of the business (Supply Chain, Operations, Integration and Test, etc.).
Support preventive and corrective action planning and implementation.
Support new product introduction into Manufacturing.
This 1st shift role will be 100% on-site and based in Westford, MA.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 5+ years of prior relevant experience
5+ years of experience within Aerospace/DOW.
Previous experience with EVMS and/or Control Account Management.
Previous experience with proposal efforts including BOE generation and review of engineering BOEs (Basis of Estimate) for technical content and estimation.
Previous experience with Engineering Product Lifecycle Management processes.
Ability to lead cross-discipline engineering teams and create a cohesive team environment.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Self-motivated and organized with excellent written and presentation skills.
Ability to learn on the fly and come up to speed quickly with minimal oversight.
Ability to clearly communicate direction, status, and urgency to the program team.
Ability to execute conflict resolutions between teams or areas of a program
Experience with risk identification and mitigation
Experience with MS Project

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
