Description

Seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support commercial mechanical construction projects in the Southern California market. Working closely with Project Managers, this position coordinates the technical and operational aspects of assigned projects and helps ensure work progresses safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget. The ideal candidate has experience with a mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, or MEP contractor and understands the coordination, documentation, procurement, and field support required to successfully execute commercial construction projects.   • Support Project Managers in the planning and execution of commercial mechanical projects.

Must-Have Skills, Experience, & Education:
  • Experience with a mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, MEP, or commercial construction contractor.
  • Ideally, experience supporting or managing projects ranging from approximately $30K to $1M in value.
  • Working knowledge of commercial construction processes, project documentation, scheduling, procurement, and field coordination.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
  • Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent industry experience considered.
