Full Job Description
In this role, you will coordinate Off-Site Manufacturing (OSM) and modular construction activities from design and fabrication through delivery, installation, commissioning, and turnover. You will work closely with the General Contractor, design teams, manufacturing partners, vendors, and field teams to ensure factory-built assemblies meet project requirements and integrate successfully with site construction.
Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate OSM and modular construction activities between the General Contractor, design team, manufacturing partners, vendors, and field teams.
  • Review shop drawings, fabrication drawings, submittals, specifications, and design changes for compliance with project requirements.
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, design clarifications, and technical issues associated with OSM and modular components.
  • Track fabrication schedules, procurement, production milestones, inspections, testing, and deliveries against the overall project schedule.
  • Coordinate interfaces between factory-built assemblies and site-installed structural, electrical, mechanical, controls, and architectural systems.
  • Monitor factory quality control and inspections to verify OSM components meet approved drawings, specifications, and project quality requirements.
  • Coordinate Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and other off-site testing, document results, and drive deficiencies through resolution prior to shipment.
  • Coordinate packaging, logistics, shipping, site receiving, storage, and installation sequencing for OSM components.
  • Maintain tracking of fabrication status, material procurement, engineering deliverables, deficiencies, change orders, and outstanding items.
  • Support field installation, commissioning, punch list, and turnover to ensure successful integration of OSM systems into the completed project.
  • Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you in your role.


Skills Required:
  • Experience supporting Off-Site Manufacturing (OSM), modular construction, prefabrication, or large-scale construction projects.
  • Understanding of fabrication, procurement, logistics, installation, and construction sequencing.
  • Ability to review shop drawings, fabrication drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and technical documentation.
  • Experience coordinating structural, electrical, mechanical, controls, and architectural interfaces.
  • Knowledge of QA/QC, factory inspections, FAT, commissioning readiness, and project turnover.
  • Strong coordination, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple technical deliverables and priorities across manufacturing and field construction teams.


Education / Licenses / Certifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
  • Construction, engineering, or project management certifications preferred.
  • Proof of education, licenses, and certifications will be required where applicable.
