Your Role:

As a Project Engineer, you will lead capital projects within the organization. You will build relationships with project customers and stakeholders and manage work from the idea stage through close out documentation.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Develop and implement engineering solutions to internal customer problems and opportunities.
  • Provide project management and engineering on small to medium capital projects from initiation through start-up and closure documentation using project management models.
  • Develop project requirements, schedule, and manage all project costs, while managing multiple projects concurrently.
  • Procure necessary contractors, materials, and equipment to support projects.
  • Support departmental process improvement efforts based on annual objectives.
  • Read and interpret internal and external regulatory agencies' policies, codes, standards and regulations (FDA, GMP, ISO 9001, ISO 13485).
  • Align project support resources to ensure timeliness of deliverables and escalate when necessary.
  • Effectively communicate project status updates to various disciplines at different levels within the organization.
  • Create or manage the creation of engineering/construction bid packages.
  • Manage construction work in support of projects.


Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Biochemistry or other Engineering or Life Science discipline.
  • 2+ years of experience in an engineering or project management role within Life Science, Pharmaceuticals or Chemical industries.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • PMP Certification and/or Project Management training.
  • Experience working with best practices of maintenance and reliability.
  • Experience with chemical, electrical, mechanical, and other engineering disciplines.
  • Experience with project management software, including Microsoft Project and SmartSheets.


Pay Range for this position: $81000/yr - $121400.
The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses. Benefits offered by the Company include health insurance, paid time off (PTO), retirement contributions, and other perquisites.
