Full Job Description
EnVision Consultants Ltd. is looking for an experience, motivated, team-oriented person to join our Land Development team as a Project Engineer. Ideal candidates will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and problem-solving abilities and demonstrate the capacity to effectively manage internal and external relationships.

This is a role for someone seeking a position within a diverse, dynamic, employee-owned business that offers progressive responsibility and growth.

As part of your role, you may expect to be involved in:
  • Work with clients and the Land Development team on GTA land development projects
  • Helping to manage the design team and ensuring client expectations and business unit standards are met
  • Obtaining land development approvals and acting as a liaison between client and approving authorities
  • Participating in the preparation of proposals and other business development activities and aid with financial management of projects
  • Mentoring staff and assisting with their development and growth
  • Proactively committing to creating a positive work environment
  • Supporting and/or developing Health & Safety programs
  • Collaborating with other disciplines at EnVision with respect to multi-disciplinary projects
  • Travel to sites within the Greater Toronto Area and Ontario, as needed
  • Any other functions assigned as part of your employment

To apply to this position, you should expect to have:
  • Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • 5-10 years of experience in a consulting environment focused on GTA land development projects
  • Licensed as a Professional Engineer in Ontario
  • Working knowledge of the land development approvals process in Ontario
  • Project management experience is an asset
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil3D
  • Proven success in client relationship management and strong leadership skills
  • Comfortable interacting with the public, clients, contractors, and co-workers
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively, and to proactively respond to time-sensitive issues
  • A valid G license and access to a vehicle to travel to and from sites (mileage to sites compensated), including valid and appropriate vehicle insurance
