EnVision Consultants Ltd. is looking for an experience, motivated, team-oriented person to join our Land Development team as a Project Engineer. Ideal candidates will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and problem-solving abilities and demonstrate the capacity to effectively manage internal and external relationships.

As part of your role, you may expect to be involved in:- Work with clients and the Land Development team on GTA land development projects
- Helping to manage the design team and ensuring client expectations and business unit standards are met
- Obtaining land development approvals and acting as a liaison between client and approving authorities
- Participating in the preparation of proposals and other business development activities and aid with financial management of projects
- Mentoring staff and assisting with their development and growth
- Proactively committing to creating a positive work environment
- Supporting and/or developing Health & Safety programs
- Collaborating with other disciplines at EnVision with respect to multi-disciplinary projects
- Travel to sites within the Greater Toronto Area and Ontario, as needed
- Any other functions assigned as part of your employment
To apply to this position, you should expect to have:- Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- 5-10 years of experience in a consulting environment focused on GTA land development projects
- Licensed as a Professional Engineer in Ontario
- Working knowledge of the land development approvals process in Ontario
- Project management experience is an asset
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil3D
- Proven success in client relationship management and strong leadership skills
- Comfortable interacting with the public, clients, contractors, and co-workers
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively, and to proactively respond to time-sensitive issues
- A valid G license and access to a vehicle to travel to and from sites (mileage to sites compensated), including valid and appropriate vehicle insurance
