Essential Functions:
Project focus will be in the design, fabrication, erection, and maintenance of vertical welded steel tanks used for crude oil and petroleum based fuels.
Work within a project team to provide technical and project management expertise to support ongoing above ground storage tank maintenance & repair activities for area terminals.
Be able to interact with storage terminal operations and maintenance staff to develop scopes of work, repair strategy, revelant code compliance and welding procedures, AFE funding preparation, coordination with cost analysts, and project planning.
General knowledge of tank seals, welding procedures, coatings, and liners.
Tank support will also include review of drawings, reports, historical data, and technical specifications provided by suppliers/vendors.
Leverage experience to help assess new potential contractors for consideration.
Coordinate with client procurement on materials and services requisitioning and help evaluate pricing & quotes.
Ensure schedule commitments are fulfilled.
Follow all client standards and project execution procedures.
Provide accountability and regular communications with project team and stakeholders.
Ensure project commitments toward schedule are achieved.
Support project reporting metrics and manage deviations.
Promote safety in all aspects of involvement.
Requirements:
