The position is designed to work closely with and support the activities of the Product Managers, Sales Leaders, Application Engineering & Design Personnel and Operations and in a more general sense all entities of the Nucor organization.

Key Activities Include:
• Strong commitment to safety in all job aspects
• Strong ability to research and incubate innovations that advance NIPG and Nucor as the leader in providing building solutions
• Work to develop, assess, and improve or reject the technical feasibility of new product concepts
• Ability to collect and organize data from ideation, research, testing and analysis and clearly convey the work in presentations and discussions to the intended audience
• Responsible for determining what tasks are required to achieve project goals, and then scheduling and monitoring work to achieve results
• Attend trade meetings and educational sessions to become familiar with market needs and technological advances

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
