(1) General Position Description:
The Project Engineer III's primary responsibility is to provide support and assistance to the College Project Leadership Team (CPLT) members in the performance of their respective responsibilities. The Project Engineer II is expected at times to step into the roles of more senior members of the CPLT, including, without limitation, running design or construction meeting, conducting field checks, preparing written and photographic materials including correspondence, reports, procedures, guidelines, meeting minutes, and proposed board action requests to the District. The Project Engineer III coordinates with the Design Team for conformance review and timely and accurate responses to requests for information, submittals, construction change documents, etc. The Project Engineer III is the person primarily responsible to maintain project files in both electronic and paper format.
(2) Minimum Qualifications:
• Minimum 7 years' experience in a similar or equivalent position involved in project or construction management of commercial and/or public or educational facility construction projects.
• BS/BA Degree.
(3) Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience on educational programs/projects.
• Experience on Division of State Architect (DSA) projects.
Salary dependent on education and experience. Salary range: $105K-$125K
