Job DescriptionPosition Summary This position requires frequent travel and onsite work at Federal customer locations, including remote locations across the United States.
This position is responsible for supporting the project team on larger construction projects. The role assists a project manager or managers to successfully coordinate a project using the necessary engineering, labor, equipment, materials, tools, and subcontracted services. Maximize project team's effectiveness and efficiency by utilizing own organizational skills to provide basic project support to senior project management staff.
Position Details- Generally, supports a larger construction project; serves as a project resource on smaller projects or supports
- multiple projects.
- Keeps management and stakeholders informed on all issues affecting project timeline and budget.
- Assists with project scheduling, billing and change order paperwork management.
- Provides interpretation of plans and specifications for the construction project team.
- In conjunction with the PM and the Construction Engineer estimates the impact of project changes.
- Assembles submittal packages and other required project documentation.
- Assists with procurement of equipment, materials, subcontractors, and other project related services.
- Analyzes and resolves basic construction related questions and issues.
Qualifications - Four-year degree in related field, or applicable experience.
- 3+ years' experience.
- Intermediate knowledge of building systems such as HVAC, lighting, controls, generation, and water systems.
- Ability to read design and construction plans, project submittals, control diagrams, etc.
- Intermediate ERP skills to include inquiring, reviewing and printing job cost reports.
- Good project financial acumen.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Intermediate computer skills, Microsoft Office Products, such as Excel and Microsoft Projects.
- Works at a project site.

Pay: Final pay is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. For California this ranges from $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 plus annual incentive, benefits, and retirement program as outlined above.
