Project Engineer / Field Engineer

About the Position
IMCO is seeking a motivated Project Engineer / Field Engineer to join our project management team in the Greater Boise region. This role works alongside Project Managers, Superintendents, and Project Coordinators to help deliver large-scale heavy civil construction projects safely, efficiently, and successfully.
Whether you're beginning your career as a Field Engineer or bringing experience as a Project Engineer, this position provides an excellent opportunity to develop your skills while working on a major treatment plant project with additional work already planned throughout the region.

What You'll Do
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Support IMCO's commitment to safety and environmental stewardship throughout all phases of the project.
- Build strong working relationships with project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, owners, and design partners.
- Assist with project planning, scheduling, and preconstruction activities.
- Help monitor project costs, schedules, and project controls.
- Prepare, track, and manage RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
- Maintain organized project records and reports.
- Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist the project team in identifying and resolving field and project challenges.
Qualifications
Field Engineer
- Minimum of one construction-related internship.
Project Engineer
- Minimum of two years of construction industry experience.
Both Positions
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or another related technical field.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build collaborative relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams.
- Experience with-or willingness to learn-Bluebeam, HCSS, and other construction management software.
- Construction field experience is preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $75,000-$90,000 annually, depending on experience.
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance beginning the first day of the month following 60 days of employment.
