Our Providence, RI office is seeking a Project Engineer to support a diverse portfolio of municipal, transportation, and civil infrastructure projects.
Primary Responsibilities:- Support projects through planning, design, and construction of civil, stormwater, and transportation infrastructure projects, including roadway, sidewalk, curb ramp, pavement preservation, and Complete Streets improvements
- Perform field observations and document construction activities and quantities
- Review construction work for general conformance with contract documents
- Collaborate with project teams, clients, and contractors to help deliver successful project outcomes
- Work on a diverse portfolio of projects serving municipalities, private-sector clients, and state agencies.
What we're looking for:- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- 2+ years of related civil engineering experience involving design, construction-phase services, or state or local infrastructure projects.
- EIT required
- A solid understanding of civil design principles, construction practices, and the interpretation of plans, specifications, and applicable accessibility standards.
- Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
