ABOUT THE PROGRAM:Rural PathwaysRural Pathways is a new SAMHSA-funded initiative designed to expand access to evidence-based treatment, medication for opioid use disorder (MOUD), recovery support services, and behavioral healthcare across northeastern Connecticut. The program utilizes innovative service delivery models, including CHR's Mobile Pathways Unit, outpatient clinics, and community partnerships, to reduce barriers related to transportation, geography, and provider shortages. Rural Pathways focuses on rapid access to care, overdose prevention, integrated treatment for co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, and long-term recovery support for individuals living in rural communities.
ABOUT THE POSITION: Project DirectorDuties & Responsibilities - Project management oversight of federal grant(s) including monitoring performance, ensuring operation within budget expectations, ensuring compliance with contractual expectations, and funder expectations
- Develop detailed work plans consistent with grant goals.
- Collaboration with teams inside and outside of the agency related to assignments.
- Effectively facilitates workgroups, managing and supporting teams
- Tracks progress for assigned initiatives, analyzes and presents data
- Summarizes outcomes and presents findings, improvements, and ideas in a concise way
- Oversees quality improvement processes related to assigned responsibilities and participates actively in agency wide quality initiatives and monitoring processes
- Ensures that requirements for grant documentation are in compliance.
- Oversees recruitment, selection, hiring and performance evaluation in collaboration with Human Resources Department for assigned responsibilities
- Participates in staff meetings, supervision, trainings and other meetings as assigned.
- Additional duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:Education: Minimum Master's degree or above in behavioral health.
Experience: A minimum of 5-10 years ' experience in program management in the behavioral health field. 5-10 years' experience managing large scale projects, preferably with federal grant administration and operational oversight. Previous CCBHC experience preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: CT state licensure as a LCSW, LPC, LMFT or Ph.D., preferred

COMPENSATION*:$71,463.39/year minimum-$107,194.26/year maximum*
*Actual rates within this range are determined at the time of offer and are based on relevant experience, as well as adherence to our internal equity policy. (Please note, for part-time positions this range would be pro-rated based on hours worked)
