The Infrastructure Team is a dynamic and collaborative team responsible for designing and building everything at both Calgary International and Springbank Airports. WHAT ARE SOME OF THE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the planning, scoping, and coordination of small to mid-sized infrastructure and construction projects.
- Coordinate execution of operational construction projects, including scheduling, contractor coordination, and site oversight.
- Monitor project progress, costs, risks, and documentation to ensure compliance with scope, budget, schedule, and safety requirements.
- Serve as a key liaison between internal stakeholders and external contractors, consultants, and vendors.
- Conduct site inspections and support quality, safety, commissioning, and operational readiness activities.
- Support procurement activities and coordinate project close-out documentation and turnover.

- Post-secondary diploma in Civil Engineering Technology, Architectural Technology, Architecture, Construction Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline is required. Extensive directly related experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
- 4-6 years of experience coordinating small to mid-sized construction or infrastructure projects is required.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with operational and project stakeholders, communicate impacts, and resolve issues affecting safety, schedules, and operations.
- Demonstrated experience reviewing technical drawings, specifications, and construction documentation.
- As this position is considered safety-sensitive, candidates must successfully complete pre-employment drug and alcohol testing as part of the hiring process.
- This role includes driving as part of its duties; therefore, candidates will be required to provide a valid Class 5 driver's license and a current driver's abstract as part of the hiring process.
WHAT ADDITIONAL SKILLS ARE AN ASSET
- Bilingual in English and French.
- Experience working in operational environments such as airports, healthcare facilities, or public infrastructure.
- Professional certifications such as CAPM, PMP (in progress or completed), EIT, or CET/C.Tech.
