Your Opportunity:

The Project Coordinator reports directly to the Senior Consultant, Quality Initiatives, ALA. This position sits within the Provincial Seniors Health & Continuing Care portfolio and operates at a provincial level. This role is integral to Quality, supporting project management, change management, and the development, implementation, evaluation, and reporting of various quality and education initiatives. The Coordinator works closely with teams and senior project managers to develop key project documentation, including charters, status updates, and close-out/evaluation reports. The Coordinator requires strong relationship building, project management and communication skills to effectively support project processes, timelines, and deliverables with both internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities include coordinating meetings, maintaining project documentation, supporting workflow processes, and preparing communication materials. The role also contributes to the education, mentorship, and coaching of project staff in Continuing Care knowledge, in collaboration with departmental administrative support.

The Coordinator works closely with teams and senior project managers to develop key project documentation, including charters, status updates, and close-out/evaluation reports. The Coordinator requires strong relationship building, project management and communication skills to effectively support project processes, timelines, and deliverables with both internal and external stakeholders. Familiarity with the Continuing Care Health Service Standards (CCHSS), including the ability to support interpretation and education, is required.

Required Qualifications:
Degree or Diploma in related discipline. Project Management Professional certification or Extensive experience.
Additional Required Qualifications:
3-5 years' experience in healthcare projects using Project Management protocols. Experience in the development and implementation of educational resources, practice guidelines and policies. The Coordinator must demonstrate knowledge and experience across all. Continuing Care streams, including Continuing Care Homes (Type A , B and C) and Home and Community Care Types 1, 2, and 3. Familiarity with the Continuing Care Health Service Standards (CCHSS), including the ability to support interpretation and education, is required. Proven ability to foster relationships and partnerships with highly complex internal and external stakeholders (e.g., GoA, HSS IT services, Communications teams, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications:
Change Management Certification (Prosci or equivalent). Lean Six Sigma or equivalent Green Belt. MS office advanced certification (including MS Project certification). RedCap experience. Leadership certification (LEADS or equivalent).
