Job Description:Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented
Project Controls Scheduler to join our team! In this role you will get to
work on water infrastructure projects in Southern Nevada.
What You'll Be Doing:- Implements and maintains Project Planning and Scheduling.
- Reviews contractor and consultant baseline schedules to verify compliance with contract requirements, project specifications, and accepted scheduling practices
- Evaluate cost-loaded and resource loaded schedules to validate budgets and resource allocations
- Review periodic schedule updates submitted by contractors and consultants
- Perform Critical Path method analysis to identify controlling activities, near critical paths, float, sequencing issues, and potential impacts
- Assess schedule quality through detailed reviews of logic ties, activity durations, calendars, constraints, lag usage, out-of-sequence progress, open-ended activities
- Review and analyze time impact analysis submittals to determine the validity of proposed schedule impacts
- Provide schedule forecasting and risk assessments
- Prepare comprehensive schedule review reports documenting findings, deficiencies, schedule concerns, compliance issues
- Coordinate with design management and construction management personnel to resolve schedule discrepancies, discuss schedule performance, and support project controls processes
- Performs other functions associated with this position as appropriate.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:- 4-year degree in Engineering or Construction Management or related field (or equivalent experience) and 3+ years of related work experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 scheduling software
- Strong knowledge of Critical Path Method scheduling principles and schedule quality analysis
- Experience reviewing design consultant, contractor, cost-loaded, and resource-loaded schedules
- Familiarity with Time Impact Analysis, delay analysis methodologies, schedule risk assessment, and construction claims
- Ability to prepare clear technical reports and communicate schedule findings
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:- Preferred experience working on PMCM contracts
- Preferred experience working with a public agency

Salary Range: $74,800.00 - $130,900.00
