Hill International is seeking a Project Controls Manager in Valencia, California

Responsibilities

  • Assists in the development and implementation of departmental policies, regulations, and procedures
  • Directs the preparation of the departmental capital and operating budget
  • Assists with the development and implementation of department goals, long range strategies, and schedules
  • Reviews budget requests and makes funding recommendations
  • Directs the study of department operations
  • Prepares and presents reports to senior management and the Board of Directors
  • Oversees and approves the preparation of comprehensive proposals, contracts, applications for funds, and reports
  • Performs complex cost, budgetary, and statistical analysis
  • Performs special projects such as comprehensive proposals, contracts, applications of funds, and complex confidential reports as assigned
  • Oversees the services and budgets of consultants and contractors
  • Accounts for compliance with all of Metro's safety rules, polices, and procedures
  • Manages department operations including developing, monitoring and adhering to Metro's policies/procedures, budget and achieving units goals and objectives
  • Maintains, supports, and promotes a safe work environment while complying with all of Metro's safety rules, policies, and procedures


Qualifications

  • Must have a minimum of 10 years' experience in project controls
  • Master's degree in a related field is desirable
  • Four year college degree in Business, Public Administration, or other related field is preferred
  • Experience performing budgetary, administrative, operational systems support and facility planning work
  • Knowledge of theories, principles, and practices of public administration, management, organization, budgeting and financial administration, personnel administration, grants administration, and cost accounting

The salary range for this position is $202,000 - $232,000. The salary offered will be based on the applicant's qualifications, education, experience and work location.
