We are currently hiring for a Project Controls Manager in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will have the opportunity to grow your project controls and cost knowledge within all phases of a project, while gaining experience on a variety of projects. The Project Controls Manager enables the success of projects by using their technical knowledge of the Project Controls Service to empower project teams. They provide timely knowledge, and information to enable proactive decision making and risk management. Their objective is to ensure the project remains on a path to achieve desired schedule and budget outcomes. They proactively engage with the project team to forecasted deviations and develop mitigations. The Project Controls Manager is as a subject matter expert in at least ones of the core project control services (For Example: Cost Control, Scheduling, Risk Management). They obtain guidance from other technical experts on areas where they are still gaining knowledge and experience.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform Project Controls Services service offering including but not limited to capital planning, portfolio and project governance, front end planning, project funding, project set up, construction technology, procure to pay, project, cost & commercial managing, schedule control, risk management, project close-out.
• Participate in the delivery of Portfolios, Programs & projects.
• Support development of client's capital plan and associated updates by providing cashflow and accrual information.
• Facilitate funding process by consolidating information from various sources into a holistic funding request document.
• Work closely with clients to effectively set up project systems and coding and communicate the requirements to those providing inputs.
• Enable effective governance by providing relevant fact-based information including provision of reports.
• Assist in the smooth operation of the construction technology with a particular focus on ensuring the flow of information to enable efficient execution and control.
• Participate in the development of project sourcing strategies and ensure the effective set up of the procure to pay structure.
• Forecast and predictively influence the outcomes of project.
• Review and analyze schedule development and progression to proactively influence the outcome of the project.
• Identify, quantify monitor and partner to develop risk mitigation plans.
• Ensure the effective closure of projects including the completion of all financial related activities.
• Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Education: BS in Construction Management, Engineering, QS, Architecture, or related field.
• Experience: 4+ years' experience post receiving undergraduate degree working in related field.
• Experience: Knowledge of scheduling software, preferably P6.

The salary range for this full-time role is $97,400.00-$129,866.68 per year. Ranges are determined based on the position, geography, client and industry experience and level, and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range reflects base salary only, and not the total compensation package. Cumming Group reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on a candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications, including client requirements.
