Join our Project Controls team and play a key role in helping deliver complex projects successfully across Canada. As a Project Controls Specialist, you'll provide critical cost, forecasting, change management, and reporting support to multiple project delivery teams. Your expertise will help project managers and clients make informed decisions, maintain project performance, and ensure successful project outcomes from planning through execution.
Your Impact
  • Drive project success by providing project controls support across multiple project delivery teams and projects.
  • Analyze project performance using Earned Value Management (EVM) and progress measurement techniques to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain accurate project budgets, forecasts, cost reports, and performance metrics that support informed decision-making.
  • Lead change management activities, including preparing change orders, maintaining change logs, and tracking project impacts.
  • Coordinate closely with Finance and project teams to ensure budget accuracy, timely invoicing, and effective financial performance.
  • Manage subconsultant activities, including agreements, schedules, deliverables, invoicing, and overall performance tracking.
  • Review project requirements and contract documents to identify scope alignment, potential risks, and client-requested changes.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance project controls processes, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.
The Skills That Set You Apart
  • 3-5 years of experience in Project Controls, Cost Control, or Cost Analysis within a project-based environment.
  • Strong understanding of project forecasting, cost reporting, budgeting, project performance measurement, and earned value principles.
  • Experience using project scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project is considered an asset.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to analyze and interpret complex project data.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience working with Oracle ERP systems is considered an asset.
  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in Project Management, Finance, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing project requirements, and collaborate effectively with geographically diverse teams.

Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $77,400 - $102,500
MB & ON: $70,600 - $97,200
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $69,900 - $92,900
