Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field with 5+ years of experience in the engineering/construction industry.
• Demonstrated ability to handle several projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Highly organized with a structured approach to tasks.
• Comprehensive understanding of standard accounting practices and procedures.
• Strong interpersonal skills with experience in managing cross-functional teams.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Procore Project Management software.
• Experience in project scheduling with MS Project or Primavera P6.
• Document control experience in large-scale projects.
• Willing to travel and/or relocate as required.
• Experience managing projects exceeding $50 million.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Assist assigned Project Manager with project planning and cost control.
• Conduct monthly forecasting and financial accountability checks.
• Monitor and manage project budgets, commitments, and actual costs.
• Analyze job costs and identify variances promptly.
• Manage project schedules and ensure timely updates.
• Facilitate weekly project coordination meetings to ensure alignment.
• Document meeting minutes and maintain proper documentation for project archives.
• Generate and distribute Project Status Reports to stakeholders.
• Review subcontractor applications for payment and manage backcharges.
• Ensure compliance with contract administration and manage the project punch list.
• Support warranty reviews, procurement, and risk register maintenance.
• Oversee change management processes and document formal notices to owners and subcontractors.
