S ummary
The Project Controls Analyst Level 2 position w orks as part of a unit that monitors project controls activities (cost estimating, cost control, scheduling, and risk management) and resources through all phases in the lifecycle of the capital project.
Responsibilities
Develop/review estimate and schedule impacts with change orders, claims, time extension requests, and disputes.
Evaluate actual project performance, risk identification/mitigation, and recovery plans.
Manage financial reports using actual cost information, forecasted spend per project schedules , and estimated final costs against approved contract funding.
Develop/review conceptual estimate s and durations for projects.
Establish force account needs for projects.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction or Project Management, Business Administration, Transportation, or a related field.
Must have a minimum of four (4) years of related experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient computer skills (i.e., Windows environment, Microsoft Office, PeopleSoft, Oracle, etc.) and strong business administrative skills (i.e. , presentations, report and letter writing, time management, etc.).
