Day (United States of America)

A Brief Overview
In this role, you will work within the Project Controls team and various internal departments including Project Management, Facility Operations, Planning, Real Estate, Informatics and Finance. Reporting to the Director of Project Controls & Special Projects.

The Project Controls Analyst will be responsible for supporting budget management, cost forecasting, collaboration with scheduling team, and risk management as a portfolio view. Communication, organization, and analytical skills are a must in this highly collaborative role. You will also be a driving force behind our continuous improvement initiatives, helping us to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.

What you will do
  • Support the management of internal project budget/schedule of values within the project management software, for monthly/quarterly financial reporting.
  • Manage external project budget and communications within the external project management software including commitment management, change management, document control, etc.
  • Support the management of quarterly forecasts and cash flows.
  • Support the development of monthly/quarterly executive reports.
  • Identifying data quality issues and cleansing data to ensure accuracy and consistency within the portfolio data model.
  • Manage monthly vendor invoice review process within invoicing software, including project management review, third party auditing services, and communication with Accounts Payable.
  • Responsible for accurate accrual reporting for all existing POs, including communication with vendors and Finance if needed.
  • Facilitate change order routing and review processes within the project management software, content analysis, and executive/leadership approval as required.
  • Review project financial health with management team (via software dashboards views)
  • Management of Internal and Contractor Risk Register update & contingency evaluation. Financial closeout of internal budgets, Vendor POs, etc.
  • Work closely with the site scheduler to compare financial forecasts and risks are in alignment with schedule updates.
  • Assistance with programmatic initiatives, training, and alignment opportunities.


Education Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree - Required
  • Bachelor's Degree Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Statistics - Preferred


Experience Qualifications
  • At least three (3) years Experience in construction cost forecasting, accrual reporting, Earned Value Management (KPIs), application for payment reviews, and construction scheduling and planning - Required and
  • At least three (3) years Experience in business analytics: MS Excel, Power Bi (Dashboards) Required
  • At least three (3) years Experience with project controls management software (E-builder/Trimble) - Required


SALARY RANGE:

$76,100.00 - $97,000.00 Annually
