Could you be the full-time Project Contract Manager in Toronto we're looking for?
Your future roleTake on a new challenge and apply your contract management expertise in a cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside dynamic, collaborative, and solution-oriented teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in safeguarding Alstom's contractual and commercial interests while enabling successful project delivery. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, operations, finance, legal, and project delivery), develop and implement proactive strategies for claims and contract amendments, and much more.
You'll specifically take care of managing contractual correspondence, notices, and claim documentation, but also support negotiations and protect Alstom's commercial interests.
We'll look to you for:
- Leading contract and claims management activities throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, Alstom governance, and project requirements
- Developing and implementing strategies related to claims, variation orders, contract amendments, and extensions of time (EoTs)
- Monitoring project performance against contractual commitments and identifying risks and opportunities
- Providing contractual guidance to support project success
- Collaborating with stakeholders to resolve complex contractual challenges

- Degree in law, business, engineering, or a related field
- Experience or understanding of contract and claims management within complex project, infrastructure, transportation, or industrial environments
- Knowledge of interpreting, negotiating, and applying contractual terms and conditions
- Familiarity with managing contractual risks, opportunities, and change management activities
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work effectively in dynamic project environments
CompensationThe expected compensation for this role is$102,000 - $134,000 CAD per year, plus benefits and eligibility for an annual performance bonus. Final compensation will be based on skills, experience, and internal equity.
