Full Job Description
Project Architect works independently contributing to design and documentation coordination, including development of design drawings, technical documentation, and leading project team assignments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contributes to and coordinates concept design, schematic design, design development, and construction documentation, in collaboration with the Senior Project Architect and Project Manager
  • Plan, develop, and execute technical documentation which may include interpreting, organizing, and coordinating project team assignments and coordinating with consultants, contractors, fabricators and regulatory agencies.
  • Perform construction administration duties, including RFIs, submittals, bulletins, site observations, etc.
  • Execute applicable agency review analysis, including accessibility, zoning, life safety, etc.
  • Manage early client relationships under the direction of Project Manager.
  • Mentor and train junior staff members.
  • Contribute to a creative and congenial office environment.
  • Support the firm's mission through behavior consistent with the core values.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite [Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint].
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Well-rounded design, presentation and technical skills.
