Dewberry Architects Inc. is seeking an energetic Architect to join our Houston, Texas office.  Candidates should be team-oriented with strong organizational skills, communication skills, and an entrepreneurial mind-set.  

 

This is an opportunity to advance your career by leading our Healthcare Market Segment Growth Initiative.

 

Responsibilities

How will you do this?

  • Work closely with the Office Leadership to diversify and expand our regional portfolio.
  • Coordinate with Dewberry Segment Leaders to promote architectural goals and design concepts.
  • Manage projects from Concept through Construction Administration with the support of internal team members in Houston and across our organization.

Required Skills & Required Experience

  • 9+ years of experience. 
  • Healthcare experience required.
  • Licensed Architect in the state of TX.
  • Ability to identify and successfully cultivate new client and project opportunities.
  • Confident and effective interpersonal and time management skills.
  • Responsible for developing and managing client relationships.
  • Responsible for developing project fees, managing project budget, reviewing client/consultant invoices, agreements and contracts.
  • Knowledge of local and healthcare code requirements and ability to efficiently interface with agencies having jurisdiction.
  • Reviews and assures document accuracy for client(s), consultant(s) and project team(s).
  • Ability to work in Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office programs, Adobe programs, and other communication-oriented software programs.

Must have a valid driver’s license, good driving record and ability to pass a driving record background check.
