Full Job Description
Join GardaWolrd as a Program Training Manager!
We're looking for a Program Training Manager to build the training and readiness programs for a growing multi-site security operations account. This is a vendor role that works day to day with client security operations leadership across the supported sites.
This is a builder role. Roughly 80% of the job is designing and creating the programs, materials, and training system from the ground up. The other 20% is delivery, and that delivery runs mostly through a train-the-trainer model: you equip site account managers and local leaders to train their own teams rather than training every officer yourself.
You do not need to be the subject matter expert. Your job is to pull in security and operational SMEs, capture their technical knowledge, and translate it into clear, consistent, usable training. The core skill set is learning and development and instructional design. Security experience is a plus, not a requirement.
What's in it for You
• Competitive Salary: $90,000 - $100,000 / year
• Work Site Location: King of Prussia, PA (primarily onsite, with travel to supported sites)
• Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance plans, 401(k) with employer matching contributions, paid time off (PTO) policy, paid holidays, disability coverage, and life insurance options.
• Travel: Travel expectations vary by Region. Roughly 15-25%.
Your Responsibilities as a Program Training Manager:
Build the Training Programs (the core of the role)
• Design and build onboarding, operational-skills, specialized-role, and leadership training programs from the ground up
• Take what already exists and bring it into a consistent model, and create new content where nothing exists yet
• Partner with security and operational SMEs to source the technical content, then translate it into clear training
• Create SOP-based guides, reference materials, job aids, and role-specific pathways for officers, investigators, SOC personnel, supervisors, and site leaders
Stand Up the Training System
• Build the training system and tracking infrastructure from scratch; this may not be a full LMS, but the structure is yours to create
• Maintain training records, completion tracking, and refresher and readiness schedules
• Give the account team and client leadership clear visibility into completion, compliance, and readiness
Enable Local Leaders (delivery)
• Deliver primarily through train-the-trainer, equipping site account managers and local leaders to train their teams
• Support onboarding and readiness for new-site launches as the footprint grows
• Reinforce consistent standards across sites while enabling local delivery
Partner Across the Account
• Work closely with the Enterprise Strategic Account Manager, site account managers, client security operations leadership, and SMEs
• Keep training aligned with operational priorities and client expectations
• Support launches, transitions, and continuous improvement
Improve and Scale
• Evaluate training effectiveness and consistency across sites
• Identify gaps and stretch into new training needs as they surface
• Build toward a durable, repeatable program that grows with the account
Your Qualifications:
• Proven L&D or instructional-design background: you have built training programs and materials from the ground up, not just delivered them
• Experience standing up a training system or structured training infrastructure, not only administering an existing one
• Strong train-the-trainer and enablement skills; you can equip local leaders to deliver
• Ability to partner with SMEs to extract technical knowledge and turn it into clear training
• Strong facilitation, communication, and instructional-writing skills
• Strong proficiency with Google Workspace
• Organized, self-directed, and comfortable owning a program end to end
• Background in security beneficial but not required
• Background in gaming, hospitality, entertainment, retail or other multi-site operational environments
