We are pleased to announce the opening for a Program, Systems, and Operations Risk Analyst who will join our Mission Engineering team at the Missile Defense Integration & Operations Center (MDIOC) / On-site and become part of our rapidly growing technology company operating in missile defense, cybersecurity, test range modernization, biotechnology, and space control marketspaces. You will be part of a team known for risk management and mission assurance supporting mission-critical MDIOC programs.
Responsibilities:
- Perform qualitative and quantitative risk assessments for programs, projects, systems, and operations throughout the MDIOC.
- Develop and maintain risk registers, risk matrices, and dashboards; track risk status and trends over time to ensure adequate solutions are employed.
- Identify emerging risks and issues, and recommend pragmatic mitigation, transfer, or acceptance strategies.
- Support development and refinement of risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures in alignment with government standards (e.g., NIST, OMB, ISO 31000 as applicable).
- Conduct scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis, and "what-if" modeling to estimate potential impacts on cost, schedule, performance, and security.
- Prepare clear, concise risk reports, briefings, and presentations for government leadership on a regular basis.
- Facilitate risk workshops, working groups, and stakeholder interviews to gather data and validate assumptions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., cybersecurity, finance, acquisition, operations) to integrate risk considerations into planning and decision-making.
- Monitor internal and external risk factors (regulatory changes, technology shifts, etc.) and advise on implications.
- Ensure all work products meet government documentation, quality, and security requirements.
Basic Qualifications:
You must have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
You will need at least 3 years of full-time professional experience.
You must possess or be able to obtain an active Secret clearance.
You must be a U.S. citizen to be eligible for this position.
Lacking any one of these disqualifies you from this job.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Project Management, or another field associated with risk management.
Demonstrated experience creating and managing risk registers, heat maps, and risk reporting artifacts.
Familiarity with or certification in risk standards/frameworks such as NIST RMF, GAO risk guidance, or ISO 31000 and their practical application.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate complex risk concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with Government and contractor teams.
Experience developing key risk indicators (KRIs), dashboards, and scorecards for executive audiences.
