Job Description:

As a Program Sr Manager, the work you'll do at GDIT will directly impact Intelligence Community customers and national security missions. You will play a critical role in delivering secure, resilient, and mission-critical capabilities while leading complex programs that drive operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and strategic growth across highly classified environments.
  • Lead enterprise IT, cybersecurity, communications, engineering, and mission support programs that directly support customer mission objectives and operational readiness.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, cybersecurity, PMO, finance, contracts, and business development teams to deliver innovative solutions and mission success.
  • Drive operational excellence, modernization initiatives, customer satisfaction, and on-contract growth while managing risk and resolving complex challenges across dynamic mission environments.
  • Apply industry best practices, technology innovation, program management expertise, and data-driven decision-making to deliver measurable mission and business outcomes.

What You'll Need to Succeed:
Bring your program management expertise, leadership capabilities, and drive for innovation to GDIT. The Program Sr Manager must have:
  • Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: 10+ years of progressively responsible experience leading enterprise IT, cybersecurity, communications, engineering, mission support, or Intelligence Community programs.
  • Technical Skills: Program Management, Enterprise IT Operations, Cybersecurity, Cloud Modernization, Systems Integration, Agile/SAFe, ITIL, Service Management, Risk Management, Financial Management, and Business Growth.
  • Security clearance level: Active TS/SCI w Polygraph.
  • US citizenship required


Role requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex programs supporting Intelligence Community or Department of Defense customers.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage cost, schedule, technical performance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Experience supporting proposal development, program growth, financial management, and executive-level customer engagement.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to brief senior government and corporate leadership.
  • Ability to travel as required to support customer and program requirements.


The likely salary range for this position is $212,500 - $287,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
