Overview

The Program Security Specialist (PSS) plays a vital role in protecting Special Access Programs (SAPs), delivering comprehensive security oversight across personnel, facilities, classified information, communications, and industrial operations. Working closely with government partners, the PSS ensures compliance, mitigates risk, and safeguards mission-critical assets throughout the SAP lifecycle.

 

 

 

NOTE: This position is contigent upon award.

Responsibilities
  •  Administer SAP physical security programs, including facility accreditations, construction reviews, inspections, lock and combination control, and security documentation management.
  • Serve as the SAP Personnel Security Official (SPO) by processing Program Access Requests (PARs), conducting security interviews and indoctrinations, and maintaining personnel security records.
  • Manage classified access and accountability programs, including visitor certifications, foreign travel/contact reporting, TS material accountability, and secure communications support.
  • Develop and deliver security education and awareness programs, providing briefings, training, and guidance to ensure compliance with SAP security requirements.
  • Support industrial security operations and compliance, including DD Form 254 management, contractor security coordination, and distribution of security policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned
