Full Job Description
This position requires applicants to have an Active Secret clearance and ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret clearance.

The Program Security Representative Sr. responsiblities include:
  • Develops, administers and audits security programs for compliance with government regulations associated with the protection of classified material and export controlled data.
  • Develops and executes security programs associated with the protection of proprietary information in compliance with corporate policies.
  • Serves as a Program Security Representative who performs in individual and team roles supporting all contractual security requirements for DOD collateral classified programs on Cape Canaveral Space Force Station (CCSFS).
  • Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company compliance and contract execution as set forth in DOD security rules (NISPOM).
  • Works closely with U.S. Government customers to seek contract execution approvals and seeks security rulings or deviations.
  • Provides support in managing the quality, schedule and cost expectations associated with program development and execution, while maintaining the fundamental security requirements defined by the customer/company and program.
  • Prepares implementation manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to classified materials.
  • Develops and conducts security education classes.
  • Understands all current policy with ability to adapt to changes in directives issued by cognizant Government Security organizations (United States Space Force (USSF)/Navy), work with LM and government security representatives, Fleet Ballastic Missles (FBM) personnel and site leadership to implement and maintain security measures.
  • Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken.
  • Applies business-minded and risk-managed solutions to security issues and business challenges, and communicates observations and recommendations to leadership and enterprise business partners.
  • Processes clearances and customer visits and provides support for classified meetings.


Basic Qualifications

  • Active Secret clearance and ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.
  • Experience working in Government Security Databases (DISS, NISS, etc).
  • Experience and working knowledge of 32 CFR Part 117, NISPOM.
  • Proficient using Microsoft office products with the ability to produce clear reports, presentations, and spreadsheets.
  • Willingness to be flexible and must be willing to travel occasionally, use of personal vehicle to move between base locations, and to work varied hours, including evenings and after hours shifts, when launch or operational demands dictate.
  • Experience handling Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and understanding Operations Security (OPSEC) requirements


Desired Skills

  • Ability to support of program compliance with requirements derived from the DoD Contract Security Classification Specification (DD Form 254) that include but not limited to, maintaining access lists, access control, sensitive and classified material control and provide security briefings.
  • Experience working in a security related discipline (DoD, SCI or SAP programs) and ability to interpret policies.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Experience with classification marking reviews.
  • Strong interpersonal and team building skills.
  • Experience with various security databases (DISS, SIMS, PRISM, etc.).
  • Knowledge of SECNAV M-5510.36, DON Information Security Program manual, USSF and AFI regulations
  • Experience conducting internal and government required inspections and self-inspections,


Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $72500.00 - $134600.00

The salary range for this position is as listed on the requisition. Please note that the salary information listed is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market(work location) and business considerations when extending an offer.

  • Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
