The Strategic Communications group is seeking a Program Schedule Analyst to support multiple programs within our Airborne & Sustainment portfolio. In this role, the candidate will provide guidance and analysis in the areas of Project Management, Budgeting, Scheduling, and Variance Analysis. The candidate will become an integral part of the Program Management Team providing advice, consultation, and analysiswith regard tocreation and execution of the program plan
What You Will Do
- Responsible for supporting scheduling activities on multiple programs
- Monitors and reports performance against plans to ensure the contractual, cost and scheduleobjectivesare met.
- Understanding of earned value management practices and procedures, which includes scheduling fundamentals and system tool usage, such as SAPand Microsoft products
- Contributes to the completion of organizational projects and goals. Develops solutions to a variety of problems
- Frequent use oftechnical knowledge and industry schedulingpractices, techniques, and standards
- Works with senior specialists to prepare, develop and coordinate the integrated master plan and integrated master schedule to meet programobjectives. Ensures major projects are integrated across company functional groups including Finance, Engineering, Manufacturing, Logistics, Quality, etc.
- Tracks plans and schedules,solicitsregular updates,identifiesand resolves critical path and network logic conflicts. Utilizesmilestone charts, earned value management, and other project management techniques to gauge progress andidentifyperformance variances
- Work in parallel with the cost analyst of the program to ensure the cost and schedule are reconciled. Take steps to correct any mismatched items and address root cause.
- Contributes ideas for training materials. Offers suggestions for areas in processes or tools that need enhancement
- Experience with integrated schedules and logic networks using Microsoft Project software orhave the ability tolearn thistool. Background with Microsoft Office applications: Excel, Word,Powerpoint
- Understands andcomplies withrequirements in DI-MGMT-81861A, DCMA Schedule
- Assessment Guide and Planning and Scheduling Excellence Guide
- Abides by company policies and procedures, with special attention to ethics and standards of business conduct
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
- Experience with Microsoft Project
- Experience with Earned Value Concepts

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate9s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
