Overview

The Senior ServiceNow Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining an on-premises ServiceNow platform to support enterprise workflows, automation, and operational efficiency. This role requires deep technical expertise in ServiceNow architecture, hands-on development experience, and strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams, system owners, and stakeholders. The candidate will serve as a technical expert for on-prem environments, ensuring platform stability, security, and high-quality solution delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions in an on-premises environment, including custom applications, integrations, workflows, and automation.
  • Maintain and enhance core modules such as Incident, Change, Problem, Service Catalog, CMDB, Discovery, and custom applications.
  • Customize and configure UI policies, business rules, client scripts, server scripts, and platform workflow components.
  • Manage and maintain ServiceNow infrastructure, including upgrades, patching, instance configuration, and performance tuning.
  • Ensure platform security, compliance, and governance practices are consistently applied.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, platform defects, and performance bottlenecks.
  • Collaborate closely with functional teams to gather requirements, refine user stories, and translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Document technical designs, release notes, architecture, and configuration changes.
  • Mentor junior developers, share best practices, and contribute to team knowledge development.
